PIL will notify you by email if your identity or business verification is rejected. You can also see the outcome on the verification screen in the app.
Identity verification (KYC)
Common reasons for KYC rejection:
Your details do not match the ID document you uploaded
The photo was blurry, cropped, or too dark
Your face was not clear in the selfie
The document is expired
The document type is not supported
Tap "Retry Verification" on the failed verification screen to try again.
Business verification (KYB)
Common reasons for KYB rejection:
The RC number or registration number could not be verified
The registration number is already linked to another business on PIL
The uploaded documents did not meet the requirements
Correct the issue and resubmit.
Please Note: You can submit up to 2 verification attempts within a 24-hour period. If you have used both attempts, wait 24 hours before trying again. If your verification continues to fail after retrying, contact PIL support.
