All features are locked until identity verification is complete.
What you will need:
A valid government-issued ID
A device with a working camera for the liveness check
Please Note: Verification typically takes 1 to 3 minutes. You can submit up to 2 attempts within a 24-hour period.
Tap any feature button in the app or tap "Complete KYC" on the verification banner at the top of your dashboard. You will be taken to the verification screen.
Tap "Begin KYC Verification".
Wait for the verification widget to load. Once it opens, follow the on-screen prompts to submit your ID and complete the liveness check.
Please Note: The steps inside the widget depend on your country of registration. PIL uses a third-party provider to process identity verification securely.
After you submit, you will see a confirmation screen while PIL reviews your details.
If your verification is approved:
You will see an "Account Verified" screen. Tap "Explore your Dashboard" to access all features.
If your verification fails:
You will see a "KYC Verification Failed" screen. Common reasons include:
Your details do not match the ID document you uploaded
The photo was blurry, cropped, or too dark
Your face was not clear in the selfie
The document is expired
The document type is not supported
Tap "Retry Verification" to try again.
