Business verification (KYB) is required for business accounts before you can access any features. You must complete identity verification (KYC) first — the KYB widget launches automatically once your KYC is approved.
Please Note: You can submit up to 2 verification attempts within a 24-hour period.
Complete your identity verification (KYC). Once approved, the business verification widget will open immediately.
Please Note: If you leave the screen before completing KYB, you can return at any time by tapping "Complete KYB" on the verification banner at the top of your dashboard.
The next steps depend on your country of registration.
If your business is registered in Nigeria:
A verification widget will load. Follow the on-screen prompts to submit your business details and documents. You will need your company RC number.
If your business is registered outside Nigeria:
Fill in the form with your business details:
Enter Business Name
Enter Business Number (your business registration number)
Under "Upload Corporate Documents", attach a supporting business document. Accepted formats: PDF, DOC, PNG, JPG, JPEG, DOCX. Maximum file size: 1MB.
Tap "Submit KYB".
After submitting (both paths):
You will see a confirmation screen: "All KYC requirements submitted. Please note that all submissions are still pending final approval from our team. We will notify you once everything is ready."
Tap "Explore your Dashboard" to return to your account while you wait. PIL will notify you by email once your business verification is reviewed.
